CODE OF CONDUCT — APL.MD

1. PURPOSE OF THE CODE

This Code of Conduct establishes the principles and standards of behavior applicable within the APL.MD platform and in relations between APL, local producers, users, partners, and other persons who interact with the platform.

The purpose of this Code is to promote an environment based on trust, respect, transparency, accountability, and support for local producers.

Compliance with these principles contributes to maintaining a safe, professional, and relevant online space for the local producers’ community.

2. WHO DOES IT APPLY TO

This Code of Conduct applies to:

• representatives and associates of APL;
• local producers featured on the platform;
• partners and organizations collaborating with APL;
• users and visitors of the platform;
• persons who submit content, information, or materials for publication on APL.MD;

Depending on the nature of the relationship with APL, certain provisions may apply differently.

3. RESPECT AND RESPONSIBLE CONDUCT

All persons interacting with APL.MD are encouraged to conduct themselves in a respectful, professional, and responsible manner.

Behaviors intended to intimidate, harass, threaten, defame, or discriminate against others are not tolerated.

Communication must be conducted in a respectful and civil manner, regardless of opinions, position, professional status, or commercial interests.

4. INTEGRITY AND TRANSPARENCY

APL promotes integrity and transparency in its relationships with local producers, users, and partners.

Information provided to the platform should, to the extent possible, be accurate, clear, and up to date.

Producers are responsible for the accuracy of the information they provide about their activities, products, and services.

The intentional provision of false or misleading information, or information presented in a manner that may mislead the public, is not permitted.

5. PRESENTATION OF LOCAL PRODUCERS

APL aims to provide local producers with a fair and relevant platform for showcasing their activities.

The inclusion of a producer on the platform must not be used to promote illegal or misleading practices.

Producers are encouraged to clearly present the origin of their products, their characteristics, and other information relevant to consumers.

Where necessary, APL may request clarification or additional documentation before publishing or updating certain information.

6. CONTENT AND COMMUNICATION

Content submitted to APL.MD must comply with applicable laws and respect the rights of others.

The submission or publication of materials that:

• contain false or intentionally misleading information;
• infringe copyright or other intellectual property rights;
• contain threats, incitement to violence, or harassment;
• are discriminatory or defamatory;
• contain illegal or fraudulent materials;
• may compromise the technical security of the platform;
• use the identity of another person or entity without authorization.

APL reserves the right to refuse, modify, or remove content that violates this Code or applicable laws.

7. CONFLICTS OF INTEREST

Persons acting on behalf of APL must avoid situations in which personal, commercial, or financial interests may improperly influence professional decisions.

Any potential conflict of interest that may affect the objectivity or integrity of a collaboration must be disclosed in a timely manner.

APL encourages the transparent and responsible resolution of situations in which such conflicts may arise.

8. FAIR COMMERCIAL PRACTICES

APL’s producers and partners are encouraged to conduct fair and transparent business activities.

Practices that may mislead consumers regarding the origin, quality, characteristics, price, or availability of a product or service are not encouraged.

Information presented to the public must be sufficiently clear to enable informed decision-making.

9. DATA AND INFORMATION PROTECTION

APL places great importance on the protection of personal data and confidential information.

Persons who have access to such information must use it only for the purposes for which it was collected or disclosed and take reasonable measures to prevent unauthorized access.

The processing of personal data is carried out in accordance with applicable laws and APL’s data protection policies.

10. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Materials used on the platform must respect copyrights, trademarks, and other intellectual property rights of their respective owners.

Producers, partners, and users are responsible for obtaining the necessary rights or permissions for the materials they submit to APL.

Unauthorized use of photographs, texts, logos, trademarks, or other materials belonging to third parties or organizations is not permitted.

11. PLATFORM SECURITY

APL users and collaborators must contribute to maintaining the security of the platform.

Attempts to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or information are prohibited, as is introducing viruses, malware, or other elements that may affect the functioning of the platform.

Any identified vulnerability, security incident, or suspicious activity must be reported to APL as soon as possible.

12. PRODUCERS’ RESPONSIBILITIES

Producers featured on APL.MD are responsible for complying with the laws applicable to their activities.

They must provide accurate information about the products and services presented and must not use the platform to promote illegal or misleading activities.

APL reserves the right to suspend or remove a producer’s listing in the event of serious or repeated violations of this Code, the Terms and Conditions, or applicable laws.

13. REPORTING VIOLATIONS

Any person may report to APL any content or conduct that they believe violates this Code of Conduct.

Reports should, where possible, contain sufficient information to identify the situation, including a link, screenshot, or relevant description.

APL will review the reports received and, where justified, take appropriate measures.

14. MEASURES IN CASE OF VIOLATIONS

Depending on the seriousness of the situation, APL may take one or more of the following measures:

• requiring the correction of information;
• removing or amending content;
• restricting access to certain features;
• temporarily suspending an account or profile;
• removing a producer from the platform;
• terminating a collaboration;
• referring the matter to the competent authorities, where the situation requires it.

Measures shall be applied according to the nature and seriousness of the breach, as well as the applicable legislation.

15. APL’S COMMITMENTS

APL undertakes to promote principles based on integrity, respect, transparency, accountability and support for the development of local producers.

We undertake to treat producers, partners and platform users with respect, and to make every effort to maintain an accurate and relevant information space.

At the same time, we encourage all members of the APL community to actively contribute to upholding these principles.

16. UPDATING THE CODE

APL reserves the right to update this Code of Conduct periodically to reflect legislative, operational or platform changes.

The updated version is published on apl.md, together with the date of the last update.

Significant changes may be communicated through the platform or by other available means of information.
